Why dont soups fit in India ....???

Have you guys ever wondered why does soups is considered as a starter whenever we go out in a restaurant ....??
Well its a desperate attempt made by the food giants of India to make soup fit in the indian staple diet.
Soup were introduced in India way 2 decades back when India was still coming out from its post bofor's scam...people or here the common man was finding hard to have 2 meals a day ,so where would soup come in his life...
You know that on an average every one in india will have milk with parantha or toast daily...no one does a heavy breakfast in the morning because he takes lunch at 1 or 2 which consists on dal, chapati, sabzi and rice ...so here also no soup...
On an average soup holds the same value as milk does with kids ....no kid likes milk ...so when they keep kids as the target audience in their mind..its gonna back fire ...
we cannot create a space for any product in the real market...the thing is replacement...So whatever gets replaced with it must be worth its same value...
You wont ask a person to get up at 3 o'clock in the morning to have soup...

So the best thing that can be done is to change the target audience from kids to single working professionals and adults ...who have no time to actually cook and who are really health and weight conscious...
Also most people in India have dinner at 8.30 to 9 ...So the post lunch and pre dinner time can be used effectively for a soup which is heavy to consume but can be good appetizer...

Soup a staple food of West is yet to find a place for it in India...

Dis is it for now...
Bloggin off....Directly Dilse...
